Middle school is an important stage in a child's development. It is the time when academic foundations are consolidated, personal interests take shape and independence grows. At Zeppelin, we accompany children through this stage with support and care for each child's emotional well-being.
The transition to middle school
From grade 5, pupils work with subject-specialist teachers, and the Zeppelin team closely follows each child's progress in every subject.

What does intensive English mean at Zeppelin?
Native-speaker teachers with British Council experience and CELTA certification.
At Zeppelin, English lessons help children express themselves naturally, with confidence and with the joy of speaking a foreign language. We gradually build vocabulary and communication skills so that English becomes a natural tool: useful at school, for exams and later on, in adult life.
Over the course of the year, we get to know each child, observe their learning style and assess their current level. Then we work step by step, with challenges suited to each child's age and pace, for steady progress and real results.
Small classes, personalised attention
A maximum of 15 pupils per class. Every child is observed, supported and guided individually, both academically and emotionally.

11 hours of English a week, taught by a teacher with British Council experience and CELTA certification
2 hours of German
Small classes: a maximum of 15 pupils
Full-day programme: 08:00 – 18:00 (lessons, meals, afterschool)
Learning through experience
An important principle at Zeppelin is that teaching doesn't stop at the textbook. Depending on the subject, pupils also learn outside the classroom:

Biology in nature

Geography in the field

History in museums and on themed trips

Cross-curricular projects
Emotional development
Children are supported to build their confidence, manage pressure and turn mistakes into real steps towards progress.
Independence and responsibility
Pupils take an active part in school life and learn to be organised, responsible and involved in the community.
