Zeppelin Kindergarten is designed as an extension of the family, where children learn through an approach based on exploration and discovery. Through personalised learning experiences, we respect each child's pace of development and interests, and encourage them to engage with a wide variety of fields and topics. In this way, the teacher gets to know every child individually, with their own talents and characteristics, and helps them develop these.
ABOUT ZEPPELIN KINDERGARTEN
INCLUDED ACTIVITIES

MORGENKREIS
The morning circle is the moment of the day when we gather to greet one another, share important personal experiences, talk about any difficulties that have come up at kindergarten, make first contact with new topics or revisit interesting ones, and enjoy songs, finger games, rhythm games and stories.

FREE AND GUIDED PLAY
Starting from free play, the most important activity for a child of this age, Zeppelin makes the transition to guided play. By using the same play mechanisms that children love and are used to, we help them discover their potential and get to know themselves and the world around them

DAILY ACTIVITIES
Each day of the week has a main theme:
-
Monday – painting;
-
Tuesday – arts and crafts;
-
Wednesday – rhythm and music;
-
Thursday – cooking;
-
Friday – movement games and sport (with the school's PE teacher)
PLAY IN NATURE
Following the principles of closeness to nature, environmental education and learning in as informal a setting as possible, we offer little ones the ideal environment to explore nature throughout the morning, during free play or outdoor activities, for at least one hour every day, whatever the weather. From April to October, the children also go outside in the afternoon, and at least once a week we visit the nearby parks.

THE GERMAN LANGUAGE
German is used constantly, alongside Romanian, so that every child understands the meaning of what is said. By involving the children in different contexts for learning and using German (cooking, painting, crafts, exploring nature), we lay the foundations for fluency in the language. In this way, we help them build deep and lasting knowledge.

RHYTHMS AND FESTIVALS
In a rapidly changing world, where children are constantly having to adapt to changes in their lives, festivals and the clear rhythms of the day, the week and the year give them a sense of security, helping them feel firmly anchored and able to face the challenges of the times they live in. The children's schedule and themes are closely linked to Romanian and German festivals and to the opportunities for exploration that each season and time of year offers.

OTHER ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS
SETTLING IN
At Zeppelin Kindergarten, children's emotional needs come first. Adaptation happens at the child's own pace. On the first visit with the parents, the little one gets to know the kindergarten and their new friends. They are invited to explore the garden, meet their teacher and new classmates, and then gradually, when they are ready, go inside to see the indoor space. Over the following days, the child is invited to spend time in the garden, and take part in activities as they feel comfortable. Settling in goes smoothly, so that the child feels safe and the parent feels reassured.
REGULAR DIALOGUE WITH PARENTS
Zeppelin Kindergarten encourages constant dialogue with parents, so that both sides can get to know and understand the children better. We hold regular parents' meetings, to discuss general matters concerning the group's activities, as well as individual consultations, where we present each child's progress.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SNACK
To reinforce healthy eating habits, and also to help them learn the days of the week, the children have a snack break with food they bring to kindergarten themselves, according to the following schedule:
Monday – raw vegetables
Tuesday – seeds and nuts
Wednesday – fruit
Thursday – raw vegetables
Friday – dried fruit in winter, fresh fruit in spring and summer
